IMPAVI.DE is a static publishing site. We do not run advertising, marketing trackers, or third-party analytics on the public site.
What we collect directly
- Standard web server logs may include IP address, user agent, request path, and timestamp for security, abuse prevention, and service diagnostics.
- If you contact us directly by email, we receive the information you choose to send.
Article comments
Article comments are provided by the self-hosted Remark42 service at https://impavi.de/remark42.
If you choose to comment, the comment service stores the data required to operate public discussions, including:
- your display name
- your account identifier from the selected login provider
- your comment content
- moderation metadata and timestamps
Comments are public by design and may remain visible until removed by you or by moderation action.
Google sign-in for comments
Google sign-in is used only to authenticate comment accounts in Remark42.
When you sign in with Google, IMPAVI.DE and the self-hosted comment service receive the minimum account data needed to identify your comment profile, such as your Google account ID, display name, and email address as provided by Google.
We do not use Google sign-in data for advertising or cross-site profiling.
Cookies and local storage
The site stores a local theme preference in your browser so dark or light mode can persist between visits.
The comment service may use cookies or similar browser storage that are necessary for login sessions and comment functionality.
Data retention
- Web server logs are retained only as long as needed for operational and security purposes.
- Public comments and moderation records may be retained as long as the discussion remains published or as needed for abuse handling and backup recovery.
Your choices
- You can avoid comment-related data collection by not signing in and not posting comments.
- You can request removal of your comments or account-related comment data by emailing
privacy@impavi.de.
